Mama, Ama & Lots of Drama is a family business — built by a mother and daughter who learned everything the hard way and figured you might like the shortcuts.
"Mama" is what the kids call me. "Ama" is what they call my mother. And "lots of drama" is, honestly, what happens whenever the two of us are in a room together planning anything — a birthday party, a Sunday dinner, a family trip. We turned that energy into a business: we plan events for other families the way we plan our own, curate the products we'd actually hand our friends, and talk about the parts of motherhood that don't make it into anyone's feed.
What started as long phone calls comparing notes on parenting turned into a product shop, then a full event-planning practice. The constant through all of it: we show up prepared, we tell the truth, and we make sure the people we work with feel taken care of.
Mama, Ama, and Lots of Drama was founded by a dynamic mother-daughter duo who put Jesus first, family always, and believe every season of life deserves a little celebration. Our mission is simple: help parents and grandparents create meaningful moments, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of laughter with the people they love most. From ready-to-go printable kits and creative activity ideas, to vlogs and our ever-growing Etsy shop, we're here to make life easier, richer, and more connected — whether you're planning a grand getaway, looking for faith-filled parenting inspiration, or just need a quick win for a weekend with the grandkids.
Let's build legacies of love — one memory, one laugh, and one adventure at a time.
Happily married and raising three kids alongside a busy, high-powered career. She's active in her kids' schools, activities, church, and community — and still makes time for the things she loves: cooking, photography, cake decorating, and dreaming up her next Cricut project. Jesus and family come first, always.
Mama's mother, happily married, still building a career of her own, and the most hands-on grandma you'll ever meet. She lives just up the hill from her grandkids and never misses a chance to be there. A proud Texas matriarch, she loves Jesus, wine, country music, glamping, and traveling with her husband whenever she gets the chance.
We show the real version of family life — the beautiful and the messy — because that's what actually helps people.
No cookie-cutter packages. Every event is planned around your family, your budget, and your people.
Every product we sell or link to is something we've genuinely tried, used, or would hand to a friend.
Two generations under one roof, comparing notes on raising kids, throwing parties, and keeping the peace.
Friends started asking us to plan their parties. Then friends of friends. Now it's what we do all week.
We built a product line and started sharing the gear and gifts we swear by, organized so you can actually find what you need.
