Mama, Ama & Lots of Drama is a family business — built by a mother and daughter who learned everything the hard way and figured you might like the shortcuts.

How it started

A name that just fit

"Mama" is what the kids call me. "Ama" is what they call my mother. And "lots of drama" is, honestly, what happens whenever the two of us are in a room together planning anything — a birthday party, a Sunday dinner, a family trip. We turned that energy into a business: we plan events for other families the way we plan our own, curate the products we'd actually hand our friends, and talk about the parts of motherhood that don't make it into anyone's feed.

What started as long phone calls comparing notes on parenting turned into a product shop, then a full event-planning practice. The constant through all of it: we show up prepared, we tell the truth, and we make sure the people we work with feel taken care of.

Meet Mama & Ama

Mama

Mama, 40

Happily married and raising three kids alongside a busy, high-powered career. She's active in her kids' schools, activities, church, and community — and still makes time for the things she loves: cooking, photography, cake decorating, and dreaming up her next Cricut project. Jesus and family come first, always.

Ama

Ama, 60

Mama's mother, happily married, still building a career of her own, and the most hands-on grandma you'll ever meet. She lives just up the hill from her grandkids and never misses a chance to be there. A proud Texas matriarch, she loves Jesus, wine, country music, glamping, and traveling with her husband whenever she gets the chance.
